Material Options
You've got two choices here. The straight aluminum version (3/16" 5052-H32) gives you solid protection and won't rust. Want more? Go with the aluminum plus 1/4" UHMW layer setup — that extra plastic layer soaks up harder hits and is worth it if you're running gnarly terrain all the time.
Black Powder Coat Finish
Add a black powder coat for $25 if you want it to look sharp and last longer against the elements. Fair warning: choosing this finish means your order takes an extra 1-2 weeks to ship since it has to go through the coating process.
