You've got two material choices here. Go with straight 3/16" aluminum if you want solid protection that's proven to work. Or step up to 3/16" aluminum with a 1/4" UHMW plastic layer on top—that plastic is tougher against abrasion and sliding contact, so it'll hold up longer if you're really beating on rocks and logs.

Standard comes as-is. If you want a black powder coat finish instead, add $60 to your order. Fair warning: the black coat takes an extra 1–2 weeks to ship since it's applied after we build it.
