This skid plate is built from 5052 H32 aircraft aluminum, 0.160 inches thick, and comes with everything you need to bolt it on—no drilling or tapping required. It ships with a clear anodize finish straight out of the box, which keeps things looking sharp and adds an extra layer of corrosion protection. Made right here in the USA.

How It Works
The plate sits underneath and shields your engine, transmission, and frame from rocks, stumps, logs, and whatever else you hit on the trail. The custom brackets bolt right to your frame using Ricochet's proprietary fasteners—they won't rattle loose and come off just as easy if you ever need to pull the plate for service.
Finish Options
Your skid comes with clear anodize as standard. If you want a black powder coat finish instead, we can do that for you—add some extra time (1-2 weeks) to your ship date, but you'll get that durable black look ready to go. The surface also comes prepped if you'd rather powder coat it yourself down the road.
