Kawasaki KLX300 Skid Plate (2020-2026) | Redesigned & Built Tougher
We completely redesigned this skid plate from scratch, and it's now our most bulletproof version for the KLX300. You get full protection underneath your bike with the option to add a UHMW plastic layer on top if you want extra slide and shock absorption. Rocky terrain, logs, stumps—whatever you throw at it, your undercarriage stays safe. Installation is straightforward with custom-fit hardware; no drilling into your frame needed.

Aluminum Only (SKU 266): 5052-H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, 0.160" thick with clear anodized coating for corrosion resistance

Aluminum + UHMW Overlay (SKU 266-P): Same tough aluminum base plus a UHMW plastic layer for better glide and impact feel
Already running our skid plate? You can grab just the UHMW overlay as a standalone add-on (SKU 266-U) to fit your existing setup.
Hardware That Actually Stays Put
We spec'd Chrome-Moly brackets because they're more than twice as strong as basic steel. Your skid won't rattle, and you can pull it off or bolt it back on whenever you need to.
Black Powder Coat Option
Want it finished in black? We can coat it for you, or the base aluminum ships ready for you to send out for custom powder coat work. If you pick the black powder coat, add 1-2 weeks to your ship time—black only.
