3/16" 5052-H32 Aluminum — A tough, proven material that's been tested on the trail and holds up.

3/16" Aluminum + 1/4" UHMW — Aluminum does the heavy lifting while UHMW plastic takes the hits and slides smooth over rocks and stumps. Go this route if you want the best of both worlds.
Finish Options
Want it to look sharp too? Add a black powder coat finish to your bash plate and frame skids for $110. It'll give your rig a cleaner appearance and doesn't cost much extra. Just know that if you choose the black coat, tack on another 1 to 2 weeks for shipping while it cures.
