Material options explained
3/16" Aluminum (no suffix): Straight aluminum gives you maximum stiffness and handles hard hits without flexing. Pick this if you want one tough, durable setup that'll last forever.
Hybrid — 3/16" Aluminum + 1/4" UHMW Layer (-P): This one sandwiches a self-lubricating plastic layer on top of the aluminum. Rocks and logs slide off easier, but you still get the strength underneath. Good middle ground for riders who bounce between rocky and rooty terrain.
1/2" UHMW (-U): Thick self-lubricating plastic that slides over obstacles like nothing. Made for folks who live on rocky or rooted ground. Only available for 2021-2025 model years.
Add black powder coat
Want it blacked out? You can add a black powder coat finish to the whole set for $140 extra. It looks sharp and holds up to the elements. Fair warning — if you choose the powder coat, add 1-2 weeks to your delivery time.
