Pick Your Material
You've got two choices here. Go with 3/16" aluminum if you want something that's stiff and won't rust on you. Or step up to 1/2" UHMW — that's a plastic material that's tougher against hard impacts and slides over rocks smoother than aluminum does.
Black Powder Coat (Optional)
Want it to look finished and match your rig? You can add a black powder coat for $150. This option is only available for the aluminum version. Fair warning: if you go this route, tack on another week or two before it ships to you.
