Material Options
You've got two choices here. Go with aluminum if you want solid, dependable protection that'll take a beating. UHMW is a different animal—it's a plastic-based material that's slippery and won't rust, so rocks and stumps just bounce off it without sticking.
Powder Coat Finish
Want the aluminum pieces coated in black powder coat? That'll run you $255 and covers the front bash plate, A-arm guards, rear linkage guards, and frame skids. Add 1-2 weeks to your ship time when you go this route—it comes in black only.
If you're going UHMW, you can add black powder coat to just the A-arm guards and trailing arms for $75. The partial powder coat option isn't available for the aluminum kits.
