The Material
This plate is made from 5052-H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, 0.160" thick. It's the real deal — tough enough to take repeated hits without denting easy, and it won't weigh you down. The clamps are heat-treated Chrome-Moly steel, which means they stay locked tight and won't rattle loose on rough ground.

Color Options
It ships standard with a clear anodized finish that protects the aluminum and keeps the natural metal look. Want it black instead? Add a black powder coat finish for $45, but plan on an extra 1 to 2 weeks for shipping while we apply and cure the coat.
