The Material
This is 5052-H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, 0.160" thick. That's the same stuff they use on real race bikes—it's tough enough to take repeated hits but doesn't add a ton of weight. Ships with a clear anodized finish that protects the metal and keeps it looking sharp.
Installation
The Chrome-Moly clamps clamp right around your frame tubes. No drilling holes, no tapping threads. Bolt it down, tighten everything, and you're ready to ride. Takes maybe 15 minutes. If you ever need to pull it off, it comes right back off just as easy.
