Honda Transalp Skid Plate
This skid plate bolts on to shield your Transalp's undercarriage from rocks, logs, stumps, and whatever else you hit on the trail. It's made from 5052-H32 aircraft-grade aluminum at 0.160" thick — solid enough to take a real beating without bending or cracking. No drilling or tapping needed, and the whole job takes just a few minutes with basic tools.

The UHMW option: Want extra protection? Ricochet also makes a version (SKU 355-P) with a ¼" thick UHMW plastic backing glued to the aluminum. That backing absorbs impacts, resists abrasion, and cuts down vibration — if you're running technical terrain, it's worth considering.
Finish choices: It ships with a clear anodized coat that'll hold up fine. If you want it black instead, add the powder coat option — just know that'll tack on 1 to 2 extra weeks before it ships.
