The Material
This is built from 5052-H32 aircraft-grade aluminum—the same stuff you'll find on serious enduro bikes everywhere. At 0.160" thick, it's got the strength to absorb hits without adding bulk. Want your skid plate in black instead? You can add a durable black powder coat finish for $30. Just keep in mind it'll add 1 to 2 weeks to your ship time while it gets coated and cured.
