Our skid plate bolts straight onto your 2001–2008 FE 650 without any drilling or tapping. It shields your undercarriage from rocks, roots, stumps, and whatever else the trail throws at you, so you can push harder without worrying about damage underneath.

What You're Getting
This skid plate is cut and formed from 5052-H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, the same tough stuff you'll find in real aircraft. It's 0.160" thick—thick enough to take a beating but not so heavy it becomes a problem. The mounting clamps are heat-treated Chrome-Moly, which means they grip tight and don't rattle. Clear anodized finish comes standard, giving you a clean look and solid protection against corrosion.
No drilling. No tapping. You bolt it on using the included hardware and you're done. Everything lines up, everything stays tight, and you can pull it off in minutes if you need to work underneath.
Black Powder Coat Option
Want it blacked out instead of silver? You can add a black powder coat finish for $30. Just know that if you choose this option, plan on an extra 1 to 2 weeks before it ships out.
