The Build
The plate is 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum—the same stuff used in real aircraft. At .160 inch thick, it's solid enough to take hits from rocks, logs, and whatever else you throw at it. The clear anodize coating protects the aluminum so it won't rust or corrode over time.
Installation
This thing goes on fast. You're not drilling or tapping anything into your frame. The custom bracket bolts right on using the hardware we include. Most installs take less than an hour.
Finish Options
It arrives with the clear anodize by default. If you want a black powder coat finish instead, we can do that for you—just add it to your order. Black powder coat will add 1–2 weeks to your shipping time and costs extra.
