Kawasaki KLX230S Skid Plate
This Ricochet skid plate bolts right onto your 2020–2026 KLX230S and wraps full protection around your engine and frame. It's made in the USA from solid aluminum, comes with everything you need to install it, and doesn't require any drilling.

Installation
This thing installs in minutes. No drilling, no tapping, no special tools. The brackets mount to existing frame points, so your KLX stays bone-stock underneath.
Upgraded Material for 2024–2026
If you want better impact absorption and a smoother ride over rocks and logs, Ricochet offers an optional upgrade: 3/16" aluminum backed by a 1/4" UHMW plastic layer. This combo cushions harder hits and slides easier across obstacles. Fair warning — this option only works with 2024–2026 models.
Finish Options
The standard clear anodize keeps things clean and protects against corrosion. If you prefer black, add the black powder coat finish for $45 — just plan on an extra 1–2 weeks for shipping.
