This is a Ricochet skid plate built for your Yamaha YZ85 (2002–2026). It's made from aircraft-grade aluminum that's .160 inch thick—tough enough to handle the hits that come with serious riding. The clear anodize finish that comes on it straight out of the box gives you solid corrosion protection right away.

Installation is straightforward. Everything bolts up using the brackets we include, so you won't need to modify your bike. The design was updated in 2023 to fit better and cover more of your undercarriage across all year models in the range.
If you want to add a black powder coat finish instead of the standard clear anodize, you can do that. The powder coat adds some extra durability and gives it a different look. Heads up though—adding the black powder coat means your order will take an extra 1–2 weeks to ship.
